The mission of the President's Emerging Global Scholars (PEGS) cohort is to recruit and develop high-potential academic talent for Kennesaw State University and the Honors College.  The cohort provides a premier undergraduate scholastic experience that focuses on academic excellence, scholarship and research, while holistically cultivating personal growth in the areas of leadership, community engagement, service and intercultural competence.  The program prepares students for competitive undergraduate and post-graduate studies, scholarships, fellowships and careers at the local, national and international levels.

PEGS is a multi-year experience that fosters academic excellence and scholarship through tutelage in undergraduate research, national and international travel, leadership development, community engagement and collaborative social and intellectual exchange.
