Mission

The mission of the President's Emerging Global Scholars (PEGS) program is to accelerate the personal, professional, and academic development of exceptional Honors students. We recruit students who have demonstrated resolve and engagement, then give them opportunities to work and to lead others in a variety of environments and endeavors to help them achieve their goals.

The objective of PEGS is to prepare our students to actively engage in their communities, develop global competencies, and grow as exceptional scholars. The curricular and co-curricular programming provided in the PEGS program directly gives participants the tools they need to prepare distinguished applications for elite graduate programs, prestigious scholarships and fellowships, and exceptional career opportunities.
